terryb
I have found a scorpion prototype without any id but it does have p number stamped on most components. Construction, welding and interior fit is different to to production models. Can the p number be cross referenced to an SP registration? wally dugan
it is possible by finding the p number then cross referring it to the establishment in number which will give you the special project number in THE FVRDE files
terryb
ah, so does the number after the P refer to where it came from?
wally dugan
This is my understanding the P prefix is the makers numbering in the early trial period when the vehicle is handed over to the military it is given a establishment number for file and photographic reference as well as SP NUMBER other examples are the STALWART having P reference number before SP. FOX as well if you do not want to post the P NUMBER if you send me a PM l can have look for you Edited July 17, 2020 by wally dugan
