tyler
Hi Bowie, if you have a look at http://www.milweb.net then this will give you a good idea of what you can get for your money, but yes you can still get one in the condition you stated for good money, also give http://www.EMLRA.org a look as they may come up on there, also any of the monthly Landrover mags such as http://www.lro.com and even Ebay. Hope that helps. Tyler.
sirhc
Bowie, I got my Lightweight from XWD in Sussex, they had a shed full at the time (2003), but I have no idea if they have any left now. Mine was direct from the MoD, which in my opinion is the best way to buy a vehicle, it means someone hasn't messed around or bodged it (hopefully)! You could ring around the dealers, but there are always cheap ones on ebay, as Tyler said. Chris
bowie
Thanks, and does it come in diesel?
Richard Farrant
Thanks, and does it come in diesel? There were some ex-Netherlands Forces L/R Lightweights which were diesel, but left hand drive of course. I think it was L. Jackson at Misson, nr. Doncaster who had them, but doubt if there are any left now. Richard
