Richard Farrant
only one known to exist? http://www.sotonfreight.co.uk/1940s-scout-tank-found-in-australia.htm The owner and restorer is a member of this forum and will no doubt respond. It is now looking as it was when built.
Ben..
I restored this Scout carrier. There's a thread on MLU about the restoration. http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/showthread.php?t=19313 Ben
Runflat
A write-up also appears in CMV #171 (Aug 2015). As an aside, a picture of a restored Scout carrier T5292 (reg ending in '7') appeared recently in the French magazine Tank & Military Vehicles. Real or an imposter? Ben..
There's is a recreation Scout carrier in France. I've been to see it. It's based on a carrier lower hull. All the recreated upper armour and engine cover are loosely based on a Scout. The owner has has put a lot of effort into it but the accuracy and detail isn't fantastic.
