introduction Hello all

Am about to own my first Ex military vehicle in the form a Saviem SM8 4x4. Have owned all sorts cars bikes over the years but have recently got into lorries. Ive an interest in machine tools, lathes/milling machines and the like so need something half sensible to move it all around on, thats my excuse anyways :-D. I currently own a 7.5ton ford D series with a plant bed but always liked the idea of an army lorry.

 

Ive done around 15 years in auto bodywork so can offer that that experience up to the forum. Am a relative machining noob, but half a fair understanding in some areas.
