Nodniws
Hello, I hope someone knows for what R.S.D. W/P/ 26 did stand in the British Army. Thank you very much indeed. Krid
fv1609
Krid can you give us some context to this & an era. There is not an absolute definition of Army abbreviations which would be vast & often contradictory. It will depend on the Arm of Service & context that the abbreviation is being used. Is this on a record card, a vehicle, ammunition etc? Of official publications I have glanced at (& it would take too long to search every conceivable glossary) so far: RSD: Returned Stores Depot, Reserve Supply Depot, Reduced Safety Distance, Recovery Salvage & Disposal, WP: Warranty Period, Water Point, White Phosphorus ...and there will be more. Nodniws
Clive, sorry not having been specific. The marking R.S.D. has been found on the back mudguard of a BSA MK V bicycle and W/P/ 26 on the front mudguard of the same bicycle. Thanks Krid
