Jessie The Jeep Posted June 11, 2007 Share Posted June 11, 2007 I got home from Debach around midnight after a 5 1/2 hour trip, and I'm now completely knackered! This was all as a result of a weekend at Debach Airfield, home of the 493rd Bombardment Group, and June 10th was their annual open day event and hangar dance. With vehicles, trade, the dance, dioramas, Maurice Hammonds P-51 and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, it was a busy and fun filled weekend. Even though the actual open day was only on Sunday, Myself and several others usually go Friday and make a whole weekend of it. It would take too long to explain everything in words, so I've narrowed it down to around 60 photos out of about 550 I took across the weekend. After this, you won't be able to say you don't know what you are missing. My balancing skills weren't great, but I blame it on my lardy passengers. Me, Dad and Phil almost ready to drive to the dance.
