Rick W
What are the availability for DUKW parts? Are they basically the same as GMC 6x6?
TooTallMike
If you're looking at the 2 on Milweb I'd suggest you talk to Rex Ward first. Parts are available but he'll give you the low down on the work involved as he's rebuilt dozens. Prices are about right though., but talk about needing a nut and bolt resto... especially the one with the saggy bottom!
Rick W
Yes I was Mike. I wouldnt even entertain the idea of the one with the saggy bottom. Im waiting on some more detailed pics today of the green one. Theyre not too far away from me.
greenemachine09
i have a 44 dukw and as far as i can tell the coe cckw would be completly enterchangable down to the pedal linkages. that being said there are still a lot of parts that are unique to the duck like the air compresser, bildge pumps, etc... i live in the states or i would give you some parts suppliers but ive heard great things about the Rex Ward. Thanks, Alan G
