dgafRob
Hello all! I'm currently researching what is required to import a Kaiser M621 (Reo M35) registered in 1968 from Norway. I have not imported anything before and seem to be going round in circles trying to find out exactly what the process is. I will have the registration document for the vehicle and a receipt for the purchase amount. I have also have the commodity code for customs rating. The ferry crossing is booked with DFDS and I can potentially pay a further £128 for DFDS to deal with the customs side of things, but so far they have been a little vague about what this will provide at the end. I,e Wether the correct process will have been followed to satisfy DVLA when it comes to registering the vehicle. Is this really necessary to pay for this service or is it a fairly simple process of filling in forms etc? Any experienced advice will be greatly received! Thanks! Rob. fesm_ndt
From what I have read before it is not a major drama http://hmvf.co.uk/forumvb/showthread.php?31371-Impoting-from-Norway-to-the-UK&highlight=importing+norway the main issue is the correct paperwork for dvla. I am sure one of the locals will add in the step by step process
