Tony B
Sorry for poor reproduction. The history is they are from a number of pictures from the estate of a former Phantom soldier. So lets fill in the details.
Richard Farrant
Well, there is Austin K6 3ton GS Cargo, Guy Ant 15cwt, and looks like a Fordson WOT3 in background, the Dodge I forget the model
Tony B
Thanks Richard, I think it is a D60 Dodge, hopefully Gordon can tell us. The pictures are probably around 1939/40 given the mans AB64. I didn't know any 1/2 ton Dodges had escaped from US except the ambulances of the American Volunter Ambulnce Service. Degsy
I agree with Richard as usual, I think the Dodges may be T215 wc21 but there is no D60 Dodge there. The 6 wheeler could be one of a number of different vehicles possibly American .

Tony, They are Canadian Dodge T212 8cwt Personnel trucks and they served with British as well as Canadian and NZ forces. Built from 1941, there are photos of crated ones being unpacked in North Africa and factory painted in sand colour. No way are photos of these earlier than 1941. Tony B
Thanks Richard. That makes perfect sense. :-D He joined 1939. Unfortunatley they are not my photos. The archive consists of photos, documents and a full set of period European maps which are up for sale, and I can't afford them at the moment. Though I did say I'd some research to fill out the history. Edited September 28, 2014 by Tony B
