question Racal javelin rc 9125

Hi everyone, wondered if anyone happens to have or knows where I can get some information please on the Racal Javelin HF Communications gear. Its for a good friend of mine who is struggling to find anything. I believe there was a head unit that is part of it which I don't believe he's got but have been told it can be used without this by using some software, I don't know if this is correct or not. The TRA3755 (described as Javelin compatible) is described at the bottom of http://www.railce.com/cw/casc/racal/panther-h.htm

 

The best info on the main unit I have found is at: http://www.abex.co.uk/esales/radio/racal/javelin/index.htm but they are missing the head unit. There is a 9 pin "ACP Control" interface which is likely to be based on RS-232 anyway so if you knew the messages you could likely program a PC to act as a substitute, anyway.

I have all the technical manuals and software for the Javelins if you need them, and some 'New' complete Javelins too!
