44GPW
Recent metal detecting find, measures approx 73mm in diameter. Is this an early Bedford MW grill badge? Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Richard Farrant
From the photo it looks like it had a vertical crease in it and has been flattened out, if so it would likely be from a civilian model which had a slight fold in it to fit the grille. It's difficult to say Richard if it did have a crease or not? Certainly their seems to be a centre line but i assumed it could have been found folded in two and was straightened?? Anyway, i'm sure if anyone needs an early grill badge it will look the part? Cheers Richard
MWMike
My MW has a rectangular badge, mine is 43 but the radiator was the same on the early ones. I think it is probably from the civilian commercial vehicle. mike

rampant rivet
The Round Badge was fitted to early MW's like mine as it has only one fixing hole in the front panel, later badges had two fixings thus two holes in the front panel, this detail is also to be found in the spare parts list for MW's.
