brophy Posted May 24, 2013 Share Posted May 24, 2013 right. well i saw these sites when i was looking for 100th bg links. dont know why but in the past 2 months anything 2 do with the 100th bg...thats why i asked about taking the runway photos!! theres something about that place. when i got out of my car on that first visit there was, know this will sound stupid, a static electric atmosphere!! anyway thats me for now. speak 2 u soon!! Just a bit of runway there too. i recently asked for permission to photograph the last bits of runway[thorpe abbotts] via the 100bgmm@tiscali.co.uk site!! no joy yet response wise!! any ideas?! Does anybody know of any forum groups going onto the former airfield at thorpe abbotts in the near future? Ive tried to phone the landowners foreman 3 times to get permission to go on there to take some photos & nothing! Any help appreciated...
