BRDM Driver Posted May 23, 2013 Share Posted May 23, 2013 Just looking for some help with the correct way that the later AVF helmets (skull cap type not the bone dome), work with the various clansman headsets. I have two types of ANR headsets, the most modern pair are quite slim but don't have the snap in pins that mate with the catches inside the helmet. The headset has a large velcro top strap which I think I have seen going over the outside of the helmet? The older ANR headset is bigger more like ear defenders and these have snap in pins which attach to straps inside the helmet. I was surprised that the helmet chin strap is quite thin and that there is no chin cup. Some of the headsets also have a chinstrap so not sure if you'd have both or not.
