h4 halogen lights plug wireing

Question

ok so I am putting halogens on my truck so I can see and have got the new fittings to connect into the wireing but which colour wire goes where there is a red a yellow and a blue wire on the fitting which is the main which is high and which is earth pleas

Might be able to help hear.

As you look at the terminal block (the wires away from you) they should be

 

Left - High Beam + (blue)

top/middle - Low beam + (yellow)

right - Earth - (brown)

 

If you had the previous bulbs with 3 pins (non halogen) you need to swap the low and earth over.

 

At least that was what my Land Rover required to get them working correctly.

But cannot guarantee colours as it had be mucked about a bit.
