boots dms Posted February 24, 2013 Share Posted February 24, 2013 Hi Does anyone know when the makers name on combat clothing labels eg windproof smock etc,was replaced by the designation CT followed by letters and numbers etc.I do have an example on a genuine issued smock,however I can,t make out the numbers? letters ? following CT. wdbikemad Posted February 24, 2013 Share Posted February 24, 2013 Maker's names seem to have filtered out on issue clothing around the mid-90s.......it coincided with changes in the MoD contracting process where tenders were offered outside the UK to manufacturer kit and was possibly done for "political" reasons to avoid upsetting users.......?
