Amphibi boy
Hi all, Im taking my stalwart this year to W&P show, my friend said he can take me to ostende with his low loader, then I can drive down from ramsgate to the show ground. So he needs to do 4 journeys (home to ostende and back, then again when I return home) I looked into the cost to take a low loader accross with the ferry! Ouch! :wow: I also looked to hire a truck (from my work) but I need it one day to get there, 0ne day back, then it will be parked up for two weeks in between, so I only need it for two days, they said 2 days is no problem, but not to park it up between! (while it's parked it's not being hired, and not making them money) So, I was thinking, is anyone else going accross with a half full low loader, from belgium or near by, or passing through, that way we could share costs, (better for both of us) :-D Thanks regards shaun

Amphibi boy
Maybe you could save the ferry fare?:-D :nut: Yes, but would cost a hell of alot more in fuel! I could just see their faces as I sail into Dover! Would be fun though! :cool2:
