Zero-Five-Two
Excellent show, not a military event, as such, but with the AEC company supplying a large number of Military vehicles over the years, there was a good showing of ex Military trucks in amonst the rest of the trucks, trailers, buses and other kit. Went up in the Militant, took 6 hours to drive from Sittingbourne at 30mph, and another 6 hours back on sunday, but well worth the go. Took loads of photos which I will post in their respective galleries, and this one. Very rare and I wasn't sure where to put it. 1966 AEC Mandator, Royal Navy aircraft refueller. It coincided with Wings and Wheels this year though,damn....I will have an AEC in the next couple of years but it could be an ergo Mercury or Marshal. Best lorries ever made (excepting Bernadette of course !!!).
