fv1609 Posted January 6, 2007 Share Posted January 6, 2007 If you look on page 1 there is a RUC LWB Land Rover 4471 AZ. This vehicle was the basis of the first prototype Shorland. They lifted off the armoured body dumped it at Lislea Drive HQ where it stayed for decades only to be cut up about 5 years ago. A real bit of history lost. As the prototype predates this photo by 5 years it seems curious that they re bodied it. Presumably with the original body that was retained for this eventuality.
