Choking Plate - Bedford MW

44GPW

Question

I'm trying to find a ledgible Choke control plate to finish off my Bedford Instrument panel. My original is blank so assume the details were painted not pressed on? I did read on this forum somewhere that someone was making repro's?

Whilst on the subject of Data plates, what information went on the plate attached to the steering column?

Thanks

Richard

Hello Richard,

The choking plate is pressed aluminium, the letter are slightly raised.

The plate on the steering collum is the coolant draining instruction.

This is just painted-Transfer on a aluminium plate.

Will put a scan of the choking plate later,

Rippo,

Any luck with the scan of the Choking plate?

I'm going to try and print a couple of labels of both plates (as i work at a Label Printers) and stick them onto my worn blanks. Will probably look crap, but worth a try.

Ideally i need someone that makes "one off" transfers.

Cheers

Richard
