Geordie8888 Posted February 11, 2012 Share Posted February 11, 2012 Hi - I'm a Geordie who's been living in Colorado for the past five years although currently commuting to Calgary, Canada for work! Followed a familiar path into the MV world, starting with getting back into scale models about 10 years ago and then deciding to scale up to 1:1 once I got to the States and realized WWII jeeps grow on trees here (well not quite!). I have a '43 Willys MB which I bought as a motorpool restoration and marked up to represent my Great Uncle's unit in the war - 146 Field Ambulance, 50th Div. I'm in the middle of restoring a '42 Willys MB to SAS desert raider configuration. Although I've also decided to change my '43 MB to British airborne config, which I am half way through. I was also crazy enough to decide to buy an airborne trailer in the UK and ship it over to the US - it's currently on it's way - now I have to figure out where to store it!!
