GoranWC51
A Swedish guy worked for a aid agency in Sri Lanka a few years back bought himself and the family 3 WW2 Jeeps, and used them as local transports. He brought them back to Sweden and sold them off in no time. The Jeeps were mainly in good condition but had a few "backyard mechanics" additions to them, and some of the bolts had been screwed in place using only their fingers... Pzkpfw-e
There's a few interesting wrecks you might like to seek out, depending on where you are and how volatile the Tamil situation is! "Elephant Pass", Jafna.

RMS
spotted a few more classics today at the air force museum. my favorite by far is the Pioneer, that was still is service until the 90's but is still kept in running driving condition by the museum, its in fantastic condition and still has the Gardner 6LW. the same can be said for the other vehicles they have, all in great condition and used around the museum. They have a lot of planes at the museum from local made drones to DC3's, and Helicopters from the very first Sikorsky's to Russian Hinds, it was well worth a visit. lots of 1950's and 60's British planes. They also have some relics from the Tamil Tigers such as the shot down Suicide plane from a couple of years ago and an MTLB that was destroyed by the air force. As well as a blown up JCB 3CX!
