Degsy Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Hi Tomas, it is a Standard 4x2 produced experimentally but never went into series production probably because the jeep became available in large numbers due to Lend Lease. Quote

It was " civilian" chassis (?) or chassis from Standard Tilly? Engine was 10HP , 12HP, 14hP? More picrures? And I see on this pictures military cammo paint "Mickey-Mouse"? Quote
Degsy Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 According to Vanderveen the wheelbase was only 6' 3" so too short for for either vehicle but as it had independent front suspension it could have used the civilian chassis in a shortened form. It utilised the 12hp engine giving 44bhp, weighed 17 cwt and was on 6.00 x 16 tyres. All these details come from Vanderveen's book which also has a photo but I can't reproduce it as I don't have a scanner. Quote
