mogmaner Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Picked up a tidy R109 recever conplet with its canvas cover dated 1944 at the last Newark auto jumble for the bargin price of £15 ,it has had a mains power supply mounted on the spair valve tray ,Have started going trough the set but need to get hold of the test voltages ,can any one with this ,will post pics as soon as i can find my sim adapter. (Especially with the canvas and presumably the brush guard (protective grille)!) The problem you are likely to run into is faulty electrolytic capacitors, and some of those are _inside_ the IF transformers - which are soldered in and hard to remove for repair.
