Jessie The Jeep
Me again, just fishing in the pool of knowledge for an article for Jack. On the Willys and Ford jeeps, I've seen two different types of horn. One is a round flat unit, the other is again round and flat, but with a trumpet sticking out of the front. Can anyone tell me which came first, and around what date was the change made? or even why the change was made? Steve
Guest matt
Hi Steve, If you do a search on the forums over on G503.com you will find quite a bit of info on Horns. I'm afraid I can't help as I haven't owned a Jeep,yet...! Matt.
M8Greyhound
Trumpet came first mate....either a Sparton Horn or a Shwarze Horn.....flat horns are late to post WW2. But dont get confused with horns that have lost their "trumpet" Regards Lloyd
