I think you must mean "Rover 8" mortar kit. I was thinking it was a Mk8 Mortar at first. The Rover 8 was a Land Rover 1/4 ton 88" Series 2a from the early 1960's and I seem to recollect a mortar kit could be fitted in the rear body.
