  2. Gentlemen! In early 1970-th British SRN6 hovercraft was tested as close support with four variants of armament installation. They were 2 type of 40mm US grenade launchers, ATGM “Swingfire” and 81mm mortar. I have an idea about how were mounted Gls and ATGM. But nothing about mortar mount. Have anybody any idea about it?
  3. Gentlemen! It's true that the weapon platform for Wessex HAS.1 commando helicopter has design, different from the late Wessex HU.5? I saw only few poor quality photos of HAS.1 with platforms and I think that they have two weapon suspension units above for FFMG or 2-in rocket launchers and to two bellow for ATGM, but I'm not exactly sure. Regards, Andrey
  4. I really thought that it was simple question. In late 50th-early 60th LVT's were served by 18 coy RASC. Perhaps - LVT-3. I saw one photo with it. From 1958 (?) to 1962 (?) this coy trialled US LVTP-5. I saw short video of RM landing exercise in Borneo with LVTP-5, dated by 1963. It's all, that was after this date I don't know. regards, Andrey

Was this mod made in the REME workshop or factory? Andrey
