fv1609
Early design for tank fitted with mine clearing device, perhaps a roller. Tank yes but not mine clearing. It as for a specialist role, but not mine clearing.
fv1609
I'd suggested it earlier but is it for use on the railways? Non, elle n'est pas pour un chemin de fer.
fv1609
I was thinking that. An armoured wagon fited in front of the loco, The wedge shape would breack barricades? Not railways.
Tony B
An early tank? With a wedgey looking front. Hum!! Was it intended to be a barricade breacker? There was talk of an amphibous attack on Zebbruge in which tanks would be launched from barges. Would this be a sort of mobile ramp?
Lardrover
Tank yes but not mine clearing. It as for a specialist role, but not mine clearing. Is that a larger turret behind the two cupolas? Can't see much of a barrell, unless it's a mortar, or erector.

It isn't a turret as such but it was a hatch that allowed access to this special equipment which I have removed from the diagram otherwise it would have been a giveaway. Technical problems here. I may be slow to respond, broadband dropped out earlier today. It is back, it used to be 4.2 mps then we had a new telephone cable it dropped to 1.8 mps now it is worse than dial up at 17 kps:argh::argh::argh:
Degsy
Other versions of this tank were quite common. So is it based on a Churchill?
