Armed forces museum Aalborg, Denmark

Recommended Posts

This summer I went with the family to Denmark, like a lot of other Norwegians with small families. It's a great country to visit with small children. And the danes are also very friendly. They do also have a few good museums and a intresting war history as well.

here's a some photos from their armed forces museum in Aalborg, which I visited in the rain on my last day in Denmark.

The museum has a lot of vehicles as well as indoor exhibits with various equipment. Shows the history of the armed forces. You can get a good view inside the vehicles since they have placed ladders around them. I liked the museum!

Thanks for the pictures. I'm from Aalborg but had no idea there was such a museum. Mind you, I haven't lived in Denmark since 2001. I must go and see it next time I'm in Aalborg.

It's well worth a visit! There's also a navy museum next door! I haven't been there yet, but next time I'll go there!

I will post photos from Bangsbo fort in Fredrikshavn in a new thread. That's also something worth visiting.
