  1. Sorry I am just finding my way round this site, and I am not computer literate, I have only just gone from quill to pen. Being an old git it all seems a bit complicated sometimes, just bear with me I am sure I will get there in time. Thank you Richard Farrant. Regards Richard3108.

    wot o richard,

if its any consolation i only got a computer thingy 6 months ago, this is the friendly forum, dont worry

    regards

  2. Graham,

I have just fitted a new windscreen rubber to a '44 Humber staff car, would guess it is probably the same section and size as your K6, as it also fits my QL screens, so could have been a standard size at the time. You will have to bond it together at the join though.

    wot o richard,

where could one purchase some from please :cool2:

    regards

  3. Hi Anyone know where I can find a couple of good winscreen frames and new rubber seals for same. For an Austin K6 6x4.

ive been looking for a few years now for the rubbers but not had any luck lets hope someone pitches up on here :cool2:

    regards

  4. Come on then Dave, so you've fooled both of us , which model is it?:???

its the industrial version of the horrible french MF 130 i used to drive one on a farm a very poor 3rd compared to a 135

  5. I did my apprenticeship on Massey equipment, back in the Sixties, so am quite familiar with them. The front axle with radius rods was only fitted to 35 and the bonnet is correct to. Only difference is the flat top mudguards.

im with you richard, cab looks like a copy of the lambourne one fitted to late model MF135 although doors open the other way :cool2:

    regards

  6. These photos should assist in restoring the body of the K6 they are of a original RAF truck here painted Blue with black chassis and front mudguards and show a genuine RAF number to boot. Graham have you got that right about the late Mike Conniford i was talking to him about 4 months ago and we have been friends for nearly 40 years and i feel i would have been informed if something had happened

    cheers

    Les
