    as for taking them apart ive had the top cover off that one 6 times before i got to the bottom of the pressure drop (pipe fractured from pressure control valve to select valve ) steep learning curve an empty pockets :-D

  2. Travelling from Poole to Normandy 2004 jobsworth made everybody remove all tools before being allowed on the ferry.

    thanks degsy, myself and rod are hopefully taking the oy and that has a timber core body and is decked out appropriatly 8 axes and varios saws and handbils

    wot o richard, has this facility changed in the last few months as last time i tried it went very wrong :-D

    even this time i could t get some writing before and after the pics thats why there is a gap between the two sentances, still 100% better than last time

    theres only one colour tractor to have and thats red, bright red (mine was in 1974):-D

    richard, try a 663L its a high capacity version of the 643 its rated at 110 amps just a little taller available at your local new holland dealer,

     

    new holland have severed there links with exide and have british uk batteries manufacture for them now they have also stopped their 3 year warrenty and gone back down to 2 years :-(

  5. On my Hotchkiss, the circuit breaker is on the negative side of the battery, with a key to complete the circuit inside the drivers compartment. The positive side goes straight to the starter motor.

    my m201 has the same system but after 3 to 4 weeks of inactivity the batteries have run down enough to hinder starting it so ive taken to disconnecting the batteries as well :)

    The synchro works better with Straight 90, no extreme pressure additives to stop the friction cones from doing what they ought to.....also does not effect the yellow metal, (bronze, brass).

    it does scrunch a bit from 1st to 2nd sometimes, the oils been in there over 3yrs so i hope its not eroded too much yellow metal away :sweat:
