hi dave, on a 12volt system if the earth is the problem the guage will always read full, but i cant remember what it is if it reads empty all the time, i am assuming 24v is the same

with regards to your last post and the lack of an oil filter, a friend of mine knows of someone that takes the british military ww2 style cannister oil filter and cuts the bottom off and installs a modern screw on filter inside it and pops the bottom back on hiding it completely.
pop up to stinkers park next weekend, we will be up in the corner by the wood, tea coffee or a beer on tap if you like

it looks like an observation turret on the back of a lorry, like the RAF used to control aircraft before take off..........or maybe not :confused:

definately not that, after i got wet i put my donkey jacket on and then the FW jacket over the top by 4 pm the d. jacket was soaked as well, i was only putting mole traps in the ground so it was not hard work
perhaps that is why it was surplus :-D

i was given the other week an ex RAF jacket, green in colour with hood

as it was raining today and i was working outside all day i thought i would wear the above, within 30 minutes i was wet through
i dont know if the jacket was like this when the RAF had it, if it was i pity the poor b##ger that had to wear it:-(
was these jackets like it from new ? or has the proofing worn off/can you get some
