  1. Thank you mister Holt, now if you can just put the little Holt tank inside the Holt Rocket over there on the launch pad, we can get on with beating those Ruskies to the moon!
  2. My wife presented me with a copy of this great work 37 years ago, printed on paper so fine that all three books are bound in one embossed hard back only 1" thick, with the full size maps folded inside. A thing of beauty and a joy forever. I have only read this book once, but I have read a tatty old paperback copy many times.
  3. Very impressive restoration ackack, a worthy winner! Don't know if this is any clearer for you, looks like it could be L47682(0?)6.
  4. Nope, not one of us, :-D welcome to the friendly fourm.

  16. That trailer is British Army after WW2 and has now been changed inside to a camping car, you may know these as a fourgon vivant? This type is WW2 with 3 axles. http://hmvf.co.uk/forumvb/attachment.php?attachmentid=10266&stc=1&d=1241810941

  18. Good work CW, just as Degsy says, a fitter could only fit a new one! I presume the Belzona used can be formulated to suit different metals and uses, does not the grinding paste embed into it? or is it just the same as metal in that respect? looks like good stuff!
  19. Nice pix gps, thanks. Just like us those chaps are really proud of their Scammells!
  20. These steamers go well, and so quiet. Something went wrong...
  21. A knocky old lorry just to please Swill............... Something went wrong...
  22. We thought about going north in an effort to meet up with you but had no idea how far we would have to go, didn't think of giving CW a bell! We then went over to near Eastbourne and I just got in place for this shot of Steve Clifton returning from the show on the seafront, I have been trying to get this for years, will have to have another try as cars spoiled it. Something went wrong...
  23. Your sooo picky Andy, any way you should have been too busy looking at the writing to notice the air cleaners! :-D Never said it was the same one........
