    I've Brought a Lewis gun, 50cal and 30cal from Crossfire over the years and I cant recommend them enough, they are friendly, helpful and the workmanship and value for money is spot on. I've only ever seen Military muckabouts stuff and it dosent look good

    Just want to say despite the weather we all had a great weekend, as usual enjoyed the show, helpful organizers, great stalls, great food wagons, Beer tent and Saturday evening band spot on. Dont change anything at the show, definatly keep the catering stalls, just order more sun with the quatermaster for 2015. Roll on next year

    Hi All, While sorting through some stuff I have come across a square bit of canvas, roughly 7ft square with rope tie downs and eyelets spaced evenly all around the edge, it also has leather re-enforments stitch to the underside in two rows about 4 inches wide around the outside of the canvas. There is also the word FRONT and numbers 6554205 stamped in black on it, does anyone have any idea as to what its for ??? I'm thinking M332 or M10 Ammo trailer ??? Thanks (will try and post pictures soon)

    I forgot the Important bits, there is a Cafe on the platform serving English Breakfasts, bacon rolls etc tea and coffee etc all day, also there is a good pub next door and another one less than a mile up the road.

    We are holding a new Military theamed show at the Lavender line steam railway which is near Lewes in East Sussex, We are looking for Vehicles from any era WW2 or post WW2, re-enactors, clubs and groups to come to this event held over the Easter bank holiday set up day is 19th and show is on 20th and 21st.     I’m trying to find somewhere for my in laws to stay for the Normandy Celebrations in June, looking to stay between 3rd to 10th June 2014, for 5 people ,two rooms, Cottage, mobile home, no tents, as close as possiable to the beaches, can anyone help or know anybody who has vacancies ??? and yes I know they have left it very late 

    Just a quick update, Playground equipment has been built and payed for and is being shipped within next few days, We are going out there on 21st Sept. Total so far is £8458, we are short by £1541 can anyone help to make up the shortfall and help us hit our target? Thanks

    The photos were taken buy members of our group with fancy cameras, not sure what set up they used but the photos are great. Unless your part of a show you should contact the police and inform them of what your doing and why, they usually then give you a ref number to use incase there is a problem and plod do turn up.

    I won't go into to much detail on a public viewed forum but i used black powder, sawdust and flour, works well dosent it

    If your scared looking at the photos you want to try standing near it the first time you fire it and hope it stays in one lump, we got 4 inches of barrel recoil on the Monday

    Yes we didnt think about that until someone pointed it out so on Monday the truck was driven in and dropped the troops off and then driven away and came back in at the end of the battle. look forward to the videos thanks
