  1. The movie is available quite easily on Amazon or ebay on DVD. Just got my copy! Brilliant for reference but not acting as stated.
  2. I used to service an old Avelin Barford Loading Shovel that had a built in easy start system the same. That just had a replaceable pressurised aerosol bottle. We used to be able to buy the seperate bottles. Have you a picture of the charging nozzle on your tank? I may be able to identify it for you.
  3. Yeah, very good for me...just wish it was old spec deac! First place I went to mate to check current prices. Already showed the missus for a Christmas idea, she said " what you want another one of those for? How many bloody guns did they go into battle with...??" I replied..."well there's Monday, then Tuesday, then Wednesday....etc....!" Fell on blank expressions!
  4. My BD pads out nicely my friend...what you trying to say?? Sounds like your saying I'm a big bugger with child bearing hips....!!! Lol
  5. "Hurt foot...!" Panzers revenge! AXIS 1 ALLIES 0
  6. Yeah, first place I go to normally is WW Arms, . They tend to be cheapest around. All my old deals come from t here years ago, but prices shooting up! (Excuse pun!) I am looking round for a private seller, . Best chance of getting an old deac I think
  7. That's why I'm holding onto mine, . Just looking into a MK V to finish my para setup! Buy plans from states if need be n build my own.....! Lol (no, won't really,so don't anyone give the lecture!)
  8. If that's the case anyone got an old one sitting round collecting dust....? Lol I've seen old deals going for about £700-800. I've got an old spec (pre 96) MK2 which I can fully strip except the barrel of course. What are the new deacs like compared? A friend has a deac MK2 which is useless, can't even cock it! Nothing like that I hope!
  9. Looking for a MK V Sten for my WW2 para re enactment. Prefere old spec deac, . Any pointers or what have you. Many thanks

  18. I have both movies already and its none of them! I actually watched 'Theirs Is The Glory' last week. Don't worry, I have been trying for over 30 years now, I don't hold out much luck! Maybe I dreamt it all, but it's a hell of a good idea for a movie then!!! Lol

  20. Also it could have been a TV only movie and we may never know! Just wish I could get a lead on it and get to watch it now after 30 odd years! I may also be way out on the title but it's the only thing that sticks in the grey matter, maybe I have just convinced myself that's what it's called!
  21. You sure, it's been doing my head in for 30 odd years!! I'm sure it just concentrated on the hotel but then again I was just in my teens! I need to grab a copy n watch. Wasn't the longest day American and how THEY won the war? This was defiantly British mate
  22. Nope, that's the one I keep finding too, . Not that! It's based solely at the Hartenstein hotel!!
  23. Just wondering if the great mass mind of HMVF could help me identify a film I remember in about the early 80's. I'm guessing it was a TV MOVIE as I can't seem to find it anywhere! It was based at the Hartenstein Hotel an shows the fighting that went on in and around the area. Wasn't a documentary an I have never seen or heared of it since. I have been trying to find this for years now! I think it was called FRIEND OR FOE, but could be a lot wrong! I remember the use of 'cricket' clickers and being mistaken for German rifle bolt actions! Please put me out of my misery (and sanity) and let me know I never dreamt it all!! Any info greatly appreciated an where I could find a copy Thanks in advance
