One comment from the presenter was "we know more about the history of the Romans in Gt Britain than we do of its WW2 history "
How true is that ??

Hi Guys (and Gals?)
Main interests are engines and generators, which was where I picked up the forum as I was looking for information on a BSA genny.
Peter
Hi Peter welcome to the forum,
how old is the generator, i own a Tarpen one which is BSA powered but probably later than the type you have. it was used to power all types of hand held garden machinery. Used mine last year to power lights in the garage.

Take care.

Quite amazing. I find it odd that it is within Poland, probably the nation that suffered the worst under the Nazis that you find this sort of stuff and plenty of SS re-enactors too. The world is strange and nasty.
Tim (too)
Not forgetting Poland, Latvia amongst other European countries (occupied by the Germans) are best known in modern times for producing 90%+ of the faked German militaria in the world today (from Prussian through to Bundes)

A good story, but should it not be titled German E Boat and not Nazi
I totally agree mark  as a Nazi is actually a member of the NSDAP National Socialist Deutche Arbiter Partie (sp)

Had a bit of a get together over the break and it has come to light that we don't have any motobikes in the convoy this year. Anyone with an old Army bike please feel free to bring it along.
Give Hardyferret a nudge he may bring his along (fancy derss optional) :cool2:

To day some of the Dorset MVT took to the roads for the final road run of the year. Though it was chilly the sun shone on the journey out to The Fox at Anstey.
The return trip was somewhat chillier as the sun had disappeared and i confess i was glad to get home.
There was a strange chap dressed in Red don`t know where he came from :shake: not sure if he was smiling in one photo or just had wind ??
Good fun, good drive, good company what else can you ask for roll on 2009 and best wishes to all.
