A time consuming job but worth it, don't miss the next exciting episode when I should manage to fit it all together for the final time folks :D

Where these blocks fitted to all MWs or just the early ones do you know? Mine's pretty original and does not have them????

Tried a SMLE in the clips just to check for clearances and gave the front end a final coat of paint before starting to look a the spare engine block I found in the Cotswolds this morning.

This really did look like a boat anchor but after a good clean up its on standard bores is in good shape and is stamped with an MW prefix so looks like its going to be rebuilt as a spare unit. Likewise the crank is 20 thou undersize so should be able to use that as well.

Just wondered was this the one you had from me ..or another? :D

  6. Looking for parts for my "paternated" ie scruffy Bedford MWD Has anyone got a used tilt and cab canvas that still has some life in it .Also I am after two seat back covers and seat cushions. Also a pair of door side screens or the frames themselves I can get covered. Many Thanks Andy B :)

  7. Hi All. My Bedford MWD seems to have poor charging. Symptoms are ...switch on and red warning light glows, ammeter shows 9 amp discharge.Start engine, red light goes out and discharge drops to about 5 amps....rev engine and discharge drops to 1 amp but will not go over zero or anywhere towards a charging reading.

    Thoughts and suggestions please....:embarrassed:

  8. The question for tonight is.....

If the following vehicles were put up for sale how much (in there current state) would they be worth. I have been asked by a mate as he may want to part with them at some point in the near future.

Any help and guidance is appreciated.

    Cheers.

  10. Had a lead to a vehicle with a little modified radio box on it , but this type vehicle never was made with this kind of radio box and the owner wanted to put the vehicle back to original and was thinking to take the box of the chassis.

And now the bad news, the person sold the vehicle as it was with the box on it to a new owner .

Hopefully this new owner is also looking to bring the vehicle back to original so the box will be surplus to him?

But I made contact with the owner of the Morris C4/WT here in Belgium and had a look last Saturday at his truck.

Fantastic work as always ...you should go professional !!!!

    Pm sent Regards Andy
