Tony Where did you source the Motorhome cover from ? I've spotted these on E-Bay, although I'm not sure they are big enough. I'll have to check the truck dimensions when I'm home. http://www.leisureoutlet.com/caravans-and-motorhomes/caravan-and-motorhome-covers/full-motorhome-covers.html Kind regards Vulture

Guys Last winter I stripped the back of my CCKW 352 right back to just the metal and stored the Canvas, Seats and Bow. For a variety for reasons I’m thinking of leaving the back on. I already have a 12’ x 12’ canvas tent that I wrap the cab up in, and that does a great job. I’m keen to find out what other CCKW owners do regarding covering the cargo canvas over successfully. Kind regards to all Vulture

A great film which I watched for the first time in over a decade with my youngster recently on DVD. Lots to enjoy in it I too love the Burning Bridges song by the Mike Curb Congregation. Here are the lyrics: Friends all tried to warn me But I held my head up high All the time they warned me But I only passed them by They all tried to tell me But I guess I didn't care I turned my back and Left them standing there All the burning bridges that have fallen after me All the lonely feelings and the burning memories Everyone I left behind each time I closed the door Burning bridges lost forevermore Joey tried to help me find a job A while ago When I finally got it I didn't want to go The party Mary gave for me When I just walked away Now there's nothing left for me to say All the burning bridges that have fallen after me All the lonely feelings and the burning memories Everyone I left behind each time I closed the door Burning bridges lost forevermore Years have passed and I keep thinking What a fool I've been I look back into the past and Think of way back then I know that I lost everything I thought that I could win I guess I should have listened to my friends All the burning bridges that have fallen after me All the lonely feelings and the burning memories Everyone I left behind each time I closed the door Burning bridges lost forevermore Burning bridges lost forevermore

I've decided that each time I do some work on the truck I'm going to write up a Work Instruction on the actvity, so (a) that if I have to do it again, it will be more straightforward, and (b) it might help other people out. Using this as my first effort, I've taken the instuctions from the TM, broken them down further, and then added a bunch of notes (whilst the activity is really fresh in my mind). Later in the week I'll add some photos. Would anyone like to help me out and do a proof read ?My subsequent plan is make it available to download. (Not quite sure where from yet) Cheers Vulture

I'm dropping the old one off with Rex Ward this week. One of his conditions of sale is that the old one must be part-exd.

Hi Pzkpfw-e Just managed to work out what I was missing. I needed to tick a box entitled 'Image only(no link)' to get it to produce the right code

The problem is they won't in the future allow photo links from it :mad::mad::mad::mad::argh::argh::argh::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: I've started uploading photos onto Picaso, but can't get pictures to show here. Can anyone help ? The code doesn't seem to work. Cheers Vulture

Got the pump changed yesterday Straightforward apart from getting the top left bolt in. That was real pig which had me struggling for an hour and a half .

Hi Gordon Yes' I'm going to give it a good flush out.

NOS Spoke to Rex. You need a special four fixture puller tool to get the pulley off, which can be only done with the pump off. He suggests I either: 1. Grind down a spanner to fit. 2. Use a Side Action Screwdriver. 3. Use something else (tempered obviously) that will fit in the slot. I shall have a root around in my tool boxes this afternoon and think about how to proceed. I'd never heard of a Side Action Screwdriver before, and after a quick search on the net, it would seem to fall into the category of 'as rare as rocking horse sh1t" LOL

I'm sure it is, it just doesn't look like it ! :nut:
