    i had a nasty habit of losing my beret quite often , pretty sure that most if not all of the replacements had a leather band. p.s i anybody around the shot area come's across a cherry beret with a SLR gas return spring plug in the lining " IT'S MINE" lol

    got dragged to the local boot sale this AM , my boy say's that guy over there has a couple of army items for sale so though id give it a look and found these price £ 2.00 and this price £3.00 could not refuse them at that price

    just visited a jumble sale at the local school and got a para smock size 190/112 in really great nick . cost me the grand sum of £8 felt bad so gave them a tenner . weirdly even got a set of wings and a 2 para dz patch already sewn onto it , love to find out who it belonged to ,no one local i know . ps just noticed it's also got a WO1 patch on the sleeve :-D
