  7. Mate - have you a passport to leave Dutchland?
  8. ....and being lucky with light winds at 2000 feet so you have a nice cloud formation.
  9. That is awesome footage. :schocked: What the hell was that BMW thinking pulling out in front of that Stuart :-o That is a must see museum above and beyond anything else in the region - don't miss it. I have always been puzzled as to why people poke fun at folks who carry shed loads of kit on their MV's.......take it from me when you have someone else in the front of a GMC with you there is NO room for any kit and it is the same if your have reenactors in the back - you have to hang somewhere and this footage backs that up. Well done guys, loved to of been there.
  10. Neil/Degsy LOL Funny enough I was going to post this comment last weekend but then I realised that I had an event to attend on Sunday and I didn't want to chance my luck :-o 8-)
  11. To be honest mate - it is all about what lense you use.

  15. Hi mate. Good write up in this months CMV, it looked really unique. Couple of questions.... 1. How much is a fully operational Stuart Tank? 2. How good was the event?
  16. Actually, I was thinking the same Neil :-D ........Berni Berni BERNI
  17. Hey Chris, that is a wonderful story and funny one that happened to me too this summer. I was at a show at my uncle farm so had a lot of family there and one my family elders came up to us and when we arrived and said wow Jack I haven't seen a GMC since the war :schocked: :schocked: .......after I picked myslef up off the floor in shock from my Great Untie (who has always been old) knowing what a GMC was :-o I told her that I was 'well' impressed ( youth talk ) and how did she know what it was, she reply; "well the Yanks used to pick me up in one of these and take me to the dances, and we used to drive for miles in the them". :schocked: As happened to you, she ask if she could get in and sit in the cab - I was panicking at this stage as I didn't know how I was going to get her in, let alone out again, by the time I called over my wife to give me a hand, she hand jumped up on in and was firing out all of my stuff that I had in the cab to make room :schocked: she said then asked that it would make her day and bring back memories if we could go for a ride - so we did! Made my day too! She did say that when the Yanks had left then the Marines would come in and when they had left then the Infantry would arrive........she said that she was very busy during the war  http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/richmorris/P1010003-3.jpg[/img]
  18. Mate, it ain't going to happen........what with my mechanical skills!
  19. ............haven't broken down yet (smug laugh) :-D
  20. Nice work Ashley, some great sites there and I must keep my eyes out for the deal you got - I was saying to Anne that maybe we will be able to get over for a day during Christmas. We are lucky that we live on the coast and we should take more of an advantage of that. Having just finished a book on Pegasus and having a chat with his great newphew at the weekend, I must get there myself. Thanks for taking the time to post up the images for all of us to see. Cheers. Jack.
  21. Nice one Richard - I hope the attention to vehicle details was better than I on the Dirty Dozen last night :schocked:
