  7. I may be stupid but......... Why is it then when you see bullets holes in, lets say metal that the entry hole is elongated - surely it should be round :schocked: When I was in the US and I let rip with a Thompson and a M16 all of the holes were oblong :?

  12. A lot earlier than that mate, I think originally the regiment was formed in the 1800's and the were all from middle class's Artists etc etc. Believe it or not 21 SAS are/were now known as Artists Rifles's and I am right in saying that 21 are TA. Could someone put the correct history in WIKI?

    One for Joris

Hi mate. Well Joris is a Dutchman...............I will let him explain :-D
  14. Ok due to public demand - we have put up a links section. I have made each topic (only 3 up there at the moment) a sticky so you can add to that specific subject. Not sure how this will work but if you could also put the link in the 'subject' bar as well it should help differentiate the separate links. If you could also add 1 or 2 lines of details it will help explain it to all of us. We will give it a week or two to see how it goes and I have also made only viewable to members - just in case it gets abused. Let me know what other headings you would like to have. Hope that it is of help. Jack.
  15. Nice one Matt, that is a great link. Going to have to put that in the links section!
  16. Perfect thanks Neil! On Oddballs image you can see shed loads of dispersal area - looks like it was busy!
  17. Nice mate, I think you could be right there as it was around this area :-D The dispersal areas ( learnt that from Steves article :-) 8-)) look like they are being used as car parks :-o
  18. Doh  Sorry Mark - it is in the New Forest, Hampshire.

  22. Mate, nothing could be as good as the Dorset F&C convoy. Do you think the Sad Lads Army Group could make the Dorset F&C convoy an annual event?
