  1. Is there any way of finding out what the census number of a vehicle is? Is there an online database available that I dont know about? Im after the census number that would be stamped on my Champs plate (60BE61), but just a general question as well.

  5. That all sound very simple, but not when you look at it when its up in the air. You havent got a exploded diagram or a maintenance section for that have you?
  6. Changing the cv boot on the front of the Champ, despite having 3 very hefty manuals, not one of them covers the boot replacement. Any advice appreciated, especially things like torque settings, if any. Thanks

  10. Supposing I wanted to mount a De-Ac on a vehicle, would I need a licence for it? Would it have to be taken off in public? Would I have to notify the rozzers etc?

  12. Trying to find a link for a list of suppliers who can supply me with SAE140 oil. Morris do it but cants find an online list. Or does anyone know of anyuthing in the N bucks area. Ford have just quoted me £45 + vat for a 5 litre tub!

  18. The reg number it has come to me is 916 UXK, obviously been changed. Chassis number 6061, contract number 6-VEH-5531, does that mean anything?
  19. Im in danger of being a bit thick here, not being used to FFW/FFR. Does the twin speed mean its more likely to have been fitted with FFW or FFR?

  23. Good site for jeep plates, but I was thinking more British M.O.S. dataplates?
