  1. You occasionally get things pop up in Calssic Car Weekly, or try one of the agricultural mags which involves tractors and agri machinery.
  2. Good weekend, popped up on the Saturday afternoon, and for a few hours Sunday. Really good to chat with some people and have the oppurtunity to whizz the Champ round a field, especially with the family. Thanks to Gordon for letting me and the missus drive the Green Goddess(not so green) round the field - it was an experience! And thanks again for organising a great gathering. Maybe do one at the beginning of the season as well?
  3. Got some continuity photo sheets from BoB just as they arrived at Bastogne. Considering selling if anyones interested.

  5. Got an eye on a Wellbike. Markings on the chassis are Mk2 W30411. Does that date the bike?

  13. I'll be there Gordon if you havent already guessed. Bringing loads of stuff to buy. Heavy Duty seat covers, Haynes manuals on Spits and Lancs and the new Digging Up Plugstreet book. Tins of Hammerite, trailer mudguards, other odds and sods. Taking requests.

  15. Have a look in your copy of Windscreen. Ther is a meet advertised in there for John Marchants farm. Whole page ad. Gordons number is there. Bring your vehicle up to his farm in a few weeks, be good to see you. Our area isnt maybe quite as active as some others, but there are a lot of local shows attended. Gordon did mention one down near Dunstable a week before Johns farm meet, wont be going to that though as we are of on family hols for a week. Gordon is the man to speak to about meetings though.
  16. Ex British Telecom truck with crane used to place telegraph poles in the ground. I think it was a Bedford.
  17. Spotted today at local show. Ex Gurnsey museum piece, complete with original documents. Very nice.
  18. Went to the local museum today for the Champs first outing since I bought it. Attracted lots of interest, even spoke to an old soldier who drove one in the Suez Crisis. Good day out.
  19. Hello Eastblock, our local MVT area has a storage warehouse just outside Dunstable. You need to contact Gordon Beale. Are you a mamber of MVT?
