I seem to remember that PLUTO runs through Blackgang chine on the Isle of Wight and there is an exibition telling its story from start to finish

I have to agree about cmv ,I have bought every copy of it and mmi since they started but think this situation could be coming to an end,particularly when you add up how much has been spent over the years,I could of bought another bike with the money

the citadel certainly is looking a bit run down now but those pictures of Portland certainly make it look as though it has survived rather better

the ironic thing about this coming up now is that on monday this week I recieved through the post a us para helmet that I bought via another forum I am on

on aproper para liner shouldnt the A frames for the chinstrap be fitted under the suspension mountings A washers rather than being fixed seperately?

Whatever happened to the DUKWs that operated the ferry service from St Helier across to Elizabeth Castle, Jersey?
that would be the Jersey puddle ducks except as far as I know they have not been dukws for a long time if ever but specially built vehicles based I believe on London buses

that dakota is a very welcome addition to an excellent museum ,particularly as it was used on the original attack on june 6 1944

I have now found a bit more info about this plane,it was from253 squadron which was based at RAF Northolt from feb 16 to may 9 1940 so am going to contact the station and see if they have any info

I was talking to another forum member "carrierbarry" yesterday and he asked me if I knew anything about a hurricane that crashed in Rickmansworth area on 26 april 1940,I did not so had a quick look on the net last night and found it crashed on the Harefield estate Near Rickmansworth but no other info ,does anybody know where I go from here ?
