I buy my paint from my local car paint supplier, synthetic, satin finish and thin it with white spirit. About £18 per litre, and I did my 110 with 2 litre's.
One thing I have never done though is prime a vehcile, I just make sure it is well flatted first, very easy with an orbital sander.
Gonna see if I can get to Chatham sunday so hope to see you there.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICHARD

Now, now boys behave yourselves or I will have to take your toys away and you will only be aloud to play with the landies.
-
Just hoping and praying I'm going to have a suitable, useable vehicle by then!!!! :shake: :shake: :shake:
Well you have 8 weekends to get it finished Neil so no messing around get your ar_e in gear. :-D

So will you be taking your dad to War & Peace Clive, could ask John to give him a spin around the arena or he could give John some tips on driving - sorry John only joking
Mind you have you seen the entry price this year - day visitor on the gate £15 :schocked: but I guess you do get a lot for your money.
-
When my dad and I had a garage, I used to spray with two pack using a army gas mask!. Not ideal I know, but I used to get good results.
As with anything, practice makes perfect.
So who sprayed the champ Richard, I saw it at Chatham a few months back and it looks good.

Hi,
Has anyone every used one of the Earlex HVLP spray systems. They say it can be used on vehicles etc.
-
I think the reason for sinking the stolly is so people can see what Neil's stolly will look like when he takes it into the water.
-
Don't forget to print off your HMVF windscreen data plates so we can identify each other.
