  8. Ok, although I would really like one of the MV's like we had down the St.Albans yard, ie, Sherman, humber armoured cars, Humber pigs, Damiler armoured car, Dingo, Cletrac, etc, being realistic, I have no room for something so big or ways of transporting it, so thinking of a motorcycle, cos a) I ride them everyday, b) know what I'm doing with them and c) have room ( once I get rid of my Honda CB500), so looking at post war bikes, what are they like? Any common pitfalls? Any to avoid?
  9. Hoping to make this event, wanted to take the girls to War and Peace, but realisticly, can't afford 59 quid for us all to get in there!!! And this one is just down the road, so barring anything popping up, I'll be there!!:-D
  10. Excellent pictures, I remember going to bethune 1994 I think it was, and we stopped at a cemetery, at that age, I didn't really see what the attraction was. I would appreciate it more now.
  11. Ok thanks. Not sure about selling it, it's bit of a keepsake really, of the days down the yard, before I had to grow up and pay taxes and be a responsible parent!!!:-D

I appeared on a men and motors programe about the Speedfreak Ball at Santa Pod, had a couple of bikes featured in Back Street Heros and 100% Biker magazines: And I wrote a few articles for Britchopper bike magazine as well. Thats about it!!
  16. I enjoyed Outpost, thanks for the warning about Zombies of war!! Saw it in asda the other day and thought of getting it!! One to see has to be Zombieland, Americas version of Shaun of the dead, very funny and the best start to a film ever!!! Metallica, zombies and blood!! lol!!
  17. Hello everyone, I'm Rob, married with two little girls aged 5 and 8. Currently do not own a MV, but always had an interest after meeting Chris Wilkinson and sons in St.Albans as a kid. So yes, if any of you visited Chris at his yard and met annoying lad between 1991 and 1996, that was me!!! Had some excellent times there, and attended many great events, was very sad to learn of his death. Any way, here I am!! My main interest is motorbikes, currently the chairman of the Renegade MCC. Here's my two girls at Duxford, both have this thing about Tank Girl!! Not that they have read or seen the film, too young!! And this is my ugly mug!!!
