Does any one have any photos of the 1944 Morris commercial GS in use by the British Army in WW2 or Post war use in the British army. Korea Ect.

Morris in german use. has seen better days. Think he drove on the wrong side of the road. should be good for bits.

Thanks Hanno for the info. Dont know where to start finding the copyright on all the photos. Does the copyright run out after 60 years? when first taken. still i think they should be out there for every one to see as there are lots of info to help us guys to see british trucks in use as the british army did not let you take photos unlike the german army. These two photos came in the post today. I do let the club mag use them for free. As you do know they cost alot to buy now. Never seen that type of bumper on a Morris before. We bought a 1938 Humber Pullman car in march and have done lots of work on it, New wooden floor, Bumpers, upgrade the headlights, door panels, new boot inside and a respray. took it to Holland this Sept where photo was taken. Still needs more work on it. been in a few films.

Hi All, My Morris has number Z5812885 chassis Number 22833363 and has a number stamped on some parts 2199, dont know what 2199 is for. has a GS metal body. post war number 35 YS 10. Overhall Feb 1953 at base workshop B385. Any one know where Base workshop B385 was. Came out of the army 18 2 1957 at Feltham. Photo of Morris near Drill in Holland. Keith
