  3. Thanks Wally, just buying them to save from the scrap man, these i bought from as far away as russia . the 1939 ones are Ex BEF Dunkirk. You have to stand on your head as i put one the wrong way round. Keith
  4. Just bought this ID plate as well, that came from a Austin Champ ? 17 BE 68 Chassis No 1768 any one know the date it was made. Keith

  6. Our 1938 Humber car was taken in 1939/40 and the goverment gave back in 1946 to the original owner, i think a government dept must have used it, as it went in blue in and came out in blue and the reg number was the same as befor the war. Wish i could find out its history during the war. Keith

  9. This came in the post to day and an odd looking truck in the background . ww1 French trucks , looks like british cammo from ww2 on the first one.. Keith

  19. This is on one of my original ww1 glass negs, any one ID it, you can see the left hand wheel is on the other side of the road and there is not a lot left. Could be a winch under it. Keith
