I had a WC 52 which for a short while I called "section 8". I got called up for the Army in 1989 and effectively was there for some 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 weeks. When I told that most people asked if I got Section 8 so I thought it was apropriate...

Here in Holland we have the WW2 commemorations (Arnhem etc.) Offcourse also weekends and rally's organised by MV clubs

Effectively this is an on-line petition to get, amongst other things,those who care for the eldery to be regiatered. Doesn't cost anything but a minute or so of your time amd I believe we all owe those affected a lot more than that!! A veteran attacked and his medals stolen??? Shoot the bastards I say!!! -Lest we forget.- I signed.

Prime minister of Wales. For the 60th commemoration of the liberation of 's-Hertogenbosch we went to the Uden cemetary. I just walked up to him and shook his hand, nice man. My brother and me are members of the October 1944 Comitte and attended in original 53rd Div. uniforms.

Didn't see it. Near where I live on a old Fortress site are still 2 boys from the 43rd Recce's missing. Restaurations on the site have started but no serios attempt to find them. If they were US there would have been a professional team working there long ago. For info see the site I know via email 1 of the survivors of the patrol. http://www.43rdrecce.org.uk/
