    Hey Jack, When I bought my open cab I noticed that it handled much better with bar grips on it, but it just didn't look proper, you know you have to get the 'real' thing to really finish the old girl off. :lol: 8) Mick. P.S I'm sure a lot of you will be happy to know that the trike is soon going to be sold, hopefully should make place for an FV432. :cry: :shock: Mick.

    oh yes jack, luckily I wasn't the one who paid for it, the bloke who built it paid for that, apperently he spent 15k building it and I bought it off him for £7800 . Mick.

    Hi all, we went to Yarmouth at the weekend and on the way up there me and the boys photographed this: Command bunker with underground rooms, most of them were flooded unfortunately. Will post some more pics later. Mick.

    Well Jack, my son wants me to get a beard but somehow I don't think any of my carpet customers would be too impressed! I used to have long hair and a tache so does that count? Maybe I will paint her olive drab someday :wink: , but at the moment I think that 3 grand paint job will do.... Mick.

    Well at least we know who can carry on the hobby when we are all too old then! mc spool, i agree with you! The wife stays well out of it, and when I suggested getting a landy to go with the ferret to shows i said she could drive it, what was the answer? NOOOOO!! oh ok then.     Hi all, For those of you that have children, are your kids interested in MV's or are they the sort that just let you go off and do your own thing? I have two boys and the youngest who is 9 is not interested at all yet my 12 year old is more interested in MV's than I am! When we go up the farm were the ferret is stored I have to keep a close eye on him because before you know it the ferret is rumbling round the yard! I'd like to hear your thoughts on this. mick.

    Wow richard, that looks a million times better, mine needs touching up in a few places but the paint looks fine as it is. I suppose i'll get round to it one day. I need to paint up some wheels, as my ones on there now have sidewall cracking, I have some nato light stone but it isn't the same, it looks a lot lighter, what did you use? Mick.

    P.s for the design we could have the same design richard come up with, although the proportions would be different so it could be altered slightly. as you said something like this with the words underneath. just had a thought but we could have a camo background with white lettering, it would look really effective. You can get the following: 6x2 £29.10 8x2 £38.80 10x2 £48.50 It says any size available next to that but I think 10x2 is enough. here is their website: http://www.pvc-banner.co.uk and in tiny, tiny writing on the bottom it says prices exclude delivery and vat.     Hi, I think my vote has to go to the Saladin, just like a tank but with wheels. Very Nice, wish I had enough cash to get one... :cry: I know about that saladin first thing, it wasn't needed at the time an apc was, so they adopted the same layout and used it to make the saracen, I just got it from the book as you said.
