  1. 'sallrite Lee, we didn't like you in the first place.:-D Hope you're feeling better now! The Dugout Crew
  2. Thanks for a cracking weekend folks! (E.U. Marcus, plz PM me.) As my Kim was working with the 118's, she thought that she should look the part!
  3. Me and Herself will be there in a few hours too.
  4. No problem Nigel. I'll sort another trip out at a later date, so that those who couldn't make this one don't miss out. There'll be a few 'erberts from The Dugout attending this one, so with luck we'll get a fair bit done. Anyone else who wants to go on this one, plz PM me before 21-00 on Saturday, and I'll send you the meet up details.
  5. That's a shame Paul. Make sure that you give me a poke at The Bunker Bash, if you're going?
  6. Can you confirm, if you're attending plz. (I don't want to be standing around, waiting for maybe's. :-) )
  7. Anyone who is attending, and doesn't know the meet up point/time, please PM me.
  8. I've just come across this: http://www.stripes.com/articlephoto.asp?section=104&article=66907&photo=1&count=1 Hmmm? It's very different to the Polish and USA patterns. Here's another snippet of info' for you. When viewed with nightvision and IR illumination, The Polish pattern looses all of it's camo properties (ie, it just shows up as plain green.), where as the USA pattern still has disruptive properties. Jeez, I should have bought an anorak rather than a parka!:embarrassed:
  9. Just bought myself a new parka. It's in the Polish version of Multicam (Camogrom?), very similar to the USA type, but brown dominant and no black in the pattern. It'll be interesting to compare them both to the British varient, although I've yet to see an example of it. (Parka in Polish, trousers in USA pattern.):
  10. We're too lazy to dig, and didn't know of any other way to do it. Our Colin (Who lives in Dover.) has just mentioned this: "I was in the South Foreland area recently, and the area is being cleared of all the trees to make room for grazing, the sealing up of the tunnels also appears to have begun, with No.1 gun magazine entrance having been filled in. I haven't looked at the shelters, but it wouldn't be surprising if they are in the near future. Get there why you still can!" FFS!
  11. I always reckon that if my Mrs can do it, so can anyone.:nut: Note the correct changing of camo from DPM to white. And this is why she was crawling through a small hole, halfway down a cliff:
  12. How does a 09-00 start sound? (I'll PM details of where to meet up.)
  13. April 24th has been suggested by Maxell. Sunday the 25th would be better for me tho'. Ok with everyone else?
  14. I'm open to any ideas for a date, but I'd prefer it to be on a Sunday. So far there is plenty of room left if anyone wants to tag along. Paul, yes mate, that'd be top notch! I know a fair few bits to see, but I'm sure that you know a lot more. PM me if you're interested, and suggest a Sunday in April.
  15. Maybe to weaken the props in the direction of fall? As in chopping down trees, always make a low cut, in the side that you want it to go.
  16. No problem, it's probably better to sort it out via PM tho', and we'll need to keep the numbers down to a maximum of twelve. First come, first served. You'll need to be able bodied (I would have said "fit", but that would count me out.:-D). You'll need a boiler suit, torch (A headlamp would be better.), and of course, your camera. Here's a taster of the sort of thing that I'll be aiming to look at: http://www.sub-ex.blogspot.com/ (Our Colin's brilliant blog.)
  17. When the weather perks up a bit, I'll be having a mooch around the Dover area, if anyone fancies it?
  18. The Dugout crew were fortunate enough to spend last weekend at this cracking R6 ROTOR site. As for this event, it's a freebee for exibitors with camping on site if required. As it's on the old RAF Bolt Head site, there's plenty of room for all. If you're interested, contact Chris Howell (A sterling feller of the 1st order.) here: howell@ashworth5.orangehome.co.uk
  19. And us 'erberts from The Dugout.:-D
